Founded in March 2000, the Atlantic Region Aboriginal Lands Association (ARALA) brings together First Nation land managers committed to strengthening land management capacity across the region. As a non-political organization, ARALA focuses on delivering training, capacity-building programs, and specialized technical expertise to support effective and sustainable land management practices.
Through its work, ARALA empowers land managers with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to succeed. While the organization provides technical advice and guidance, it remains independent of political processes, ensuring its focus stays on practical support and professional development in First Nation land management.
