Our comprehensive training and capacity-building services equip First Nation Lands Managers with the skills and knowledge needed to excel.
Join us in fostering a culture of collaboration and empowerment.
The Atlantic Region Aboriginal Lands Association (ARALA)
originated in March 2000, initially comprising land managers who
recognized the need for enhanced capacity in managing First
Nation lands. It operates as a non-political organization, their
primary focus involves providing capacity building, training, and
specialized expertise for First Nation Lands Managers.
This initiative aims to empower these managers with the
necessary skills and knowledge for effective land management
practices. It’s essential to note that while ARALAprovides
technical land management advisory services, its focus remains
strictly non-political. The organization’s goal is to offer guidance
and expertise in land management without engaging in political
consultations on land-related issues.
We exist because every First Nation community deserves land managers equipped with the best tools, training, and support to manage their heritage while building their future.
We listen first. Your challenges
shape our programs. Your
successes become our shared
knowledge. Your feedback
drives our evolution.
ARALA will always prioritize
practical solutions, community
wisdom and genuine support.
Every member of our board of directors is a thought leader who has made significant contributions to our organization and their respective communities. Each person brings a unique set of skills, expertise and perspective to our organization to help establish and raise the standards of First Nation Lands Management.
